In a way it's easier here for European elections than for national ones. Normally we'd be voting for a particular candidate and you have to consider whether you're splitting the anti-Tory vote or whatever, but for Europe we just vote for parties. So I don't need to know who the candidates are for my region, they'll be picked from the party lists proportionate to the votes the party receives. And obviously I know which party suits my general political views.
