It's a one-story home that usually features a large family/living room. ours definitely does. Not all ranches have a porch, but I'm excited to have one. No cellar, just a crawl space underneath, but we do have an attic. Some ranches have garages, some don't. It's a really large category. :)
As for colors, YUP! :) I've got tons picked out, and I bought a table cloth today for our table to help make it match a little better in the room.
The living room is gonna be a pale yellow, with the one back wall barn door red. The dining room is gonna be this blue called "Glacier Mist." Quite loverly. Then, the kitchen is gonna be the same yellow as the living room, but with an accent wall the color of the dining room. So, it'll all tie together. We're talking about re-tiling the kitchen floor, too, to make it more "us." Very exciting!!
