I have seen a few shorts here and there while running around the Ezekiel offices fixing networks and Mac stuff and it's kind of surreal to know that while I was doing my work they were putting together a big budget Hollywood movie in post production. Plus I probably looked at Alex Proyas and didn't even know it was him.
I reckon most celebs could safely walk down the street and people wouldn't have a clue. Well maybe James Masters, who played Spike on Buffy, wouldn't be able to do that. My friends Robbie and Rob told James when they went shopping to wear a better disguise, James was adamant that a long coat, a hat and sunglasses would do the trick. They were at the shopping center, warringah mall I think, when from the top of the escalators there came a huge squeal followed by "It's SPIKE!" and he got mobbed by a whole bunch of teenage girls. But I digress.
If it hadn't been for one of my regular clients who does Post Production management I wouldn't have ever been privileged enough to have seen people putting together a big budget movie. Hope it does well for Alex Proyas and Nicholas Cage
