Because it was -ing cold this morning and I decided long-sleeved was the way to go. And this one was ironed. And actually fits me, having not yet fallen victim to my washing machine's shrink-ray.
Emma, why did you wear those jeans today?
Because with tired eyes and in the half-light of my bedroom I was under the mistaken impression they were the only pair of trousers in my wardrobe. In actual fact, there were two pairs.
Emma, why did you wear those shoes today?
Because they're my work shoes, duh.
