We currently have French dignitaries visiting the base I stand gate guard at and a member of the Secret Maryo Chronicles forums I'm currently dealing with is French as well. Since I'm being bombarded by Frenchies here, I decided to brush up on the language. I took it in high school so I remember a little bit of it. Past the greeting stage, however, I can't really say very much, so I bought some language learning software and have been practicing all weekend (and will continue until the weekend is over).
