Yep, I picked it up this morning for $1.60 (though now in the afternoon, I would imagine to see prices about $1.70+ on my way home), and through the week it will go down slowly, until it hits the cheapest price next Wednesday morning (the lowest price slowly getting higher and higher). By August they've said it'll be over the $2.00 mark. Though I hate to think what they means for you guys! I had no idea UKians paid so much for fuel!
Have you folks always paid a high price? The rest of Australia (the exception being Queensland) has a fuel tax of about 5c a litre I think... Is there a tax slapped on top of yours?
Who's going to clear away the bodies...that's what I want to know.
