Back in the good old days (In my case, that really was the good old days, it whent downhill from there, but that is a whole seperate story) my dad owned a Telex for business. All I remember was meters and meters of yellow tape with holes in them.
Then came the faxmachine, which was even MORE magical (I was kid back then, so anything like that was magic). The piece de resistance was when my dad bought a PC for the first time. Compared with today, it was a piece of junk, but it did cost 8000 gulden (That's guilders), which probably is about 8000 Euro today I think.
Man, time has changed.
