Well, in addition to doing a renovation of my guest bathroom, I took a malware hit a couple of weeks back.
Try as I might, I couldn'a save 'er Cap'n. So Saturday I went with a clean install, a service pack, a catch up to the service pack, and 58 software updates of various levels of criticality. Then, some of the other software for the vid card and it's updates, the audio card and it's updates. Then java, .net framework and their updates.
Whew, and managed to mask off the bathroom for the ceiling paint.
getting close to finishing now. I've got pics, but I'll have to see if my account is still active at that file dump. If I could remember which one it was.
Y'see, the one thing I forgot to do was....
Backup my bookmarks. Please, do yours now, to a different drive, or better yet, to a keychain or something.... cause, wow, did I lose a lot...
