600 pages exactly (excluding the epilogue). An extra 160 pages is fairly significant, I would assume its just the print and/or page size that makes the difference to the page count...
Finished the book lastnight myself (after not having read/seen any Potter until about a month ago). Had to watch all the movies cause the new one came out, and my friend wanted to go see it in the GoldClass. And then i heard that by this movie, they were getting a little confusing if you hadn't read the books, so in a desperate attempt to get through all the books in about 2 1/2 weeks, I downloaded all the Stephen Fry audio books (highly recommend them!! The books sound just fantastic read out loud, and Stephen Fry does the best job at it), and listen to them all (well books 1-6)while I was at work!
I decided I would read book 7 though since there wasn't a time pressure to get through it, so picked it up last weekend (only a week after the book came out). And it was quite good *nods*, I really liked it.
I'd say it probably took me around 20hours all up to finish it. Whats your point with stressing that fact that the 23hours you read the book in wheren't consecutive? I reckon it would have proably taken me longer to read it if i sat down and read the whole thing ALL at once.
Who's going to clear away the bodies...that's what I want to know.
