Try to avoid adaware, it misses a lot of things. Use grisoft's AVG Anti-spyware free version. If you can get a hold of a working copy of Webroot's Spysweeper as well, that would help too. Remember to do spyware scans in safemode, this way any spyware that starts with the system normally will stand less of a chance of booting when you're in safe mode. Tho spyfalcon seems to be able to start while you're in safe mode, haven't figured out how they do that yet. Usually have to use smitrem to get rid of that one.
