Re: I think i'm more of a cucumber then a potato... previously posted: Smallville: The major downfall of this series in my opinion, is the on/off state of the overall story line (insanely irritating!). Well, when you attempt to have a story arch last an entire season, the on/off state is very necessary, as a 22-episode (average) story is very difficult to pull off. Sure DS9 did it in Season 7 and Angel did it in Season 4, but again, very difficult to write.
