As long as you can apply the same rigor to Intelligent Design as has been applied to Evolution, I would be for it. Oh wait. You can't! Problem solved.
Realistically, there should be a compariative religion study class allowed as an elective in high school. (They already exist in colleges.) I would encourage each of us to learn more about one-another's religion. Still, unless the tenets of religion are quaified by the scientific method, please keep these tenets out of science classes and texts. If some pass, then let them in.
Also, there is nothing wrong with dscussing the current weaknesses of any scientific theory. That is how science progresses. Unfortunately, this is more difficult to do with religion...
