After more than 40 years, the current owners of our local FM rock station decided what we need is an FM talk radio station....
Bozos. Maybe the loss of interest was due more to the never-changing playlist they used. Same as it ever was.
Late last year, our local New Rock station decided what we needed more was another frackin' country music station.
Well, a DJ, who had been on the New Rock Station, and left there for Houston, and eventually came back to our original Rock station, somehow talked the suits into giving him an entire station.
So, they bumped off a "Gospel" station, and we've got Rock Again! Yayyy! I missed my new rock.
Blowing it out on "The System" right now, I'm so thrilled.
Best part is, they've got a great streaming thing going, so you can check it out if you want.
