American newsreaders are stupid. They use like 5 octaves and a whole symphony of sadness and graveness in their voices when telling a news story, adding tons of information that is completely unrelated but is supposed to make you feel guilty/sad/involved/happy/whatever-they-want-you-to-feel. Every time I go to CNN and look at one of the free videos they have there, I get the same thing all over again. What happened to reading news as it is, without adding stories of great sadness.. oy.
