DS9 served a similar life over here in the States. For many of the seasons (I won't say the first 5, since I never really watched it), it jumped around from station to station and time to time so you could never keep track of it to watch it. I still find it quite surprising it lasted the first 5 years. From the 6th season on, it remained on ABC at a time slot of 1135 PM - 1235 AM on Saturday nights. Aside from that being so late, WTF is up with that wierd slot?!
So, again, I'm sureprised it lasted as long as it did. I tried to watch it regularly from 6-7, but I just couldn't do it (and no VCR to record it with!). I made an occassional exception for special occassions--no way in hell I was missing "Trials and Tribbilations"!
