I thought it was pretty incredible to not know... My mistake.

The only reason I asked is because I'm tired of saying which one I am every time I tell people my perscription

Then as far as I know, no. As best I understand it, that is not your prescription, you certainly couldn't make lenses with it. It's just a rough indicator of what your eyesight is like for people who don't understand diopters. It's an easy concept to explain to a person. But it gives absolutely no indication of *why* you can't see properly. For example my 20/whatever (never been measured, I shouldn't think there's much point) has no way of indicating how much of it is due to my myopia and how much is due to my astigmatism. It just shows what the combined effect is. But it's useless as a prescription.
Out of curiousity, what is your prescription diopterwise? Since I've never used the 20/20 system, it's hard for me to gauge a practical translation of it. Although I was amused whilst reading up on some stuff on Wikipedia. It was showing how blurred the Snellen chart would look at 20 feet to someone needing 1, 2 and 3 dipoters of correction. It looked blurred to the point of letters not being there to me. And that's at about a foot and a half :0P
