Can you not see that what you're saying is hurtful? How is that a sign of respect? You could have simply said "I do have a sister, but I don't like her very much" or something a little more tactful. Actually, pretty much anything else would have been a *lot* more tactful.
Besides, what gives you the right to decide on behalf of 50% of the population what they should consider masculine? Surely that is your opinion, or did you go out on the street and take a survey? And your "somehow" implies you don't think they should find that attractive, unless they're too drugged to care. Fine if that's your twisted belief, but if your intention in sharing it is neither to be constructive nor amusing then what the hell is it?!
"Overt honesty" purely for honesty's sake alone is not a virtue. What does it even have to do with the original discussion? There is no sensible, logical reason to bring it up. In my country, children who expresses these characteristics are put in "special" school. For the mentally handicapped.
