I grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and held her in place for a few seconds. She calmed down and sat down, meowing sadly. Then I pushed her on her side and held her head firmly while I poked the tip of that deworming creme tube against her mouth, which she then opened. She squirmed but didn't go into a panic attack. After she had her medicines, I let her go, and she sat on my bed. I walked over and she didn't even run away. Some petting later and she was purring, so all is well. I have not a scratch on me.
It's just that Natalie gets very upset and panicky because she doesn't know what's going on, and she thinks she's going to be hurt. At least that's what I perceive. *shrugs* I love that kitten, but it's a kitten that needs an understanding owner. Kinda cool that I can handle her and others get hurt ;)
