CURRENT MESSAGE

heh!
well, rants might shake this place up.

i reckon the fact we are all busier is a factor as well. and i dont know about others but i got involved with more online communities as i got older (specifically, i got involved with irish animal rescue and pet communities) which is where i am most active. It has something to do with the people on those boards being in ireland, so they use similar lingo etc. Although, that said, about 50% of these people originally came from the usa, canada and the uk.

its juat a theory but i wonder if one of the reasons we post less - feeling we have less to say etc - might have something to do with the fear of meeting someone only to be told 'jeeze, you are nothing like you are online' - even though what you see online is mostly someone's MIND which always works faster than when it has to communicate with the body
as if we became more self concious online....

id say the way we use the internet in general has changed somewhat over the last few years (globally)

old McAishae had a zoo, meeping all night long
with a meep meep here
and a meep meep there
here a meep
there a meep
everywhere a meepmeep
