And I suspect/know a number of them lurk and don't post.
I can see one or two on there who did give reasons for leaving that, as you've said, you've obviously forgotten.
As for miscellaneous reasons...
Ann. E Nichols - left YEARS ago because she had some problem with the board not loading.
e of PI - had to cut down internet time, chose the SB as the board to go (still active in Sev)
TPW - also still active in Sev, I imagine he might be enticed back, if there was actually a board to come back too.
I'd be inclined to suggest we did put something on the DB were it not for two reasons:
1) What exactly can we offer people who come over? "Oh, well it used to be this really great place with fantastic people and an unusually close-knit community, but these days we average about three posts a week."
2) It was made fully clear that the SB was being disconnected from Sev - we don't even link back to the site anymore. So it would be spammy to go and post there really.
It's sorta funny really. I was always most active on the SB, then the DB, then the IB. Now I'm probably more active on the IB than the SB, and far more active on the DB and in comments than I am here. Heck, I sometimes think there's more of a community feeling over there than there is here now, and have considered proposing a new community board should be added to the site.
