Love your videos Petrea, tnkahs for putting them up! One of the things that reminds me how important making time for art really is came about one day when I was feeling a bunch of anxiety and guilt over buying more art supplies for a method that had sparked my interest. My husband was patiently browsing the art store while I wrestled with what to get or not get when I finally went over to him and said maybe I just wouldn't get anything and explained to him what was going on. He then told me how he had noticed that when I was regularly making time for art I was more at peace, positive and all around in a better mental and emotional state. He encouraged me to buy the supplies I needed telling me to imagine how much I was saving by buying arts supplies, teasingly saying they were way cheaper a form of mental therapy than some of the other options out there. I laughed and got my supplies. Now, I always remind myself that art is a therapy for me, a way of meditating, and something I just really love doing all good reasons to make time (and a budget) for it! On another note, those art supplies and method I bought for that day have become one of my favorites!
