I remember how Bill was blown out of the water for his aiffar with Monica, impeached, investigated and whatnot. Funny thing is, I felt, who were we to chastise him? What I mean is this, and I am sure folks may disagree with me, but he owed an apology to Hilary & Chelsea and that's it. He took a oath of office, and while he put his hand on the Bible, he swore to protect us, uphold our liberties and freedoms etc. He did not say he wouldn't cheat on his wife. As for Ensign, I remember him as well, along with Newt, screaming bloody murder. But I say the same thing, he owes his apology to his wife, not me. That's just how I feel about it. Now it doesn't make him any less grimey, but I just feel like it is a personal matter that should be handled in his home. Does anyone have proof that he, or Clinton, because of their aiffars put America in harms way? Did they have their hands on the nuke button and hit it in error in the throes of passion? Did they embezzle, do an (allegedly) Morgan Freeman and while getting satisfied orally, run off the road? Then for me, I don't care, that's their business. As long as he does his job. Now the other (probably hypocritical) part to this is that I do care about marriage and the vows that folks take. I just am tired of hearing how politicians cheat. Hell, they are politicians, do we really expect anything less? If it were me, I'd tell everyone asking me questions to get off my tip and go home and get ready to sleep on the couch, albeit with one eye open at all times.
