So, the birthday wasn't grand... kinda sad. Hardly anyone called... A few cards... not much going on. I was sad. Yesterday, though, I had a party, my annual post-school-year party, with the same group as my Christmas and "back to school" parties. We've all known each other at least four years, so this was a biggie as half of our small group graduated.
One girl brought me flowers. Another brought me a dozen balloons, and Liz (My maid of honor) brought me a cake in the shape of a 7 of spades since we play cards and I was born on the 7th. The party went from 5pm to 1am... and it was a blast. Yay for friends! :) Matt was last to leave, of course, and it was just such a blast!!!
