Sandy, your next step is to quilt. You will need backing fairbc, approximately 3 yards of fairbc for your backing if your fairbc is about 44 wide. The binding needed is about 1/3 yard of fairbc. Batting needs to be the same size as your backing. Your backing and binding should extend about 4 on all four sides of the quilt. Lay the backing fairbc on a flat surface with the wrong side up, place the batting on top of the backing and your quilt top on top making a sandwich. Pin through all layers of the quilt. Use a lot of pins to keep everything together. Next step, either free motion quilt, stitch in the ditch, or echo quilt. When finished bind the quilt.
