Listened to President Barroso on Tuesday saying he would proidve La Ashton with support staff because she could not do the job unsupported. Not that I want either van Rompuy or Ashton to have jobs either themselves or in principle, but Barroso is a big winner from appointing these talent free zones to the top jobs.
