I wanna become a<a h
I wanna become a dcootr, but i'm already failing at it?Well, here's my story.I'm 15 years old, and I know you might say don't worry, your whole life is ahead of you, here's the thing:My high school GPA kinda sucks, it's like 3.482 or something, overall. I'm now entering my sophomore year.Yes, I was in most advanced classes in high school, that's why my GPA is horrible, if I would have taken all the easy classes my friends were taking, I probably would have gotten a 4.0.High school grades is really not a big deal for me. Not a deal breaker. Here IS the deal breaker: I have enrolled in a local community college while I'm still in high school to take classes here. These classes count towards my college GPA in my state.I took General Chemistry 1 this summer, and Pre-Calculus. My pre-calculus class was pretty easy, I breezed through it, but the thing is I got kinda lazy at times to study and do homework, so I got a B. I was kinda surprised, but okay. a B isn't that bad. So now my college GPA is 3.0.My General Chemistry 1 class this one is TOUGH!!! It's included as a medical school pre-requisite, you know, part of the one year of chemistry thing. I just took the final and I'm pretty sure my grade for that class is just gonna be a flat C. Not a high C. Just regular. That brings my college GPA and science/math GPA to a 2.5.Great.Here's also another part of the story: When it was back in March thats when I found out that I can take college classees for college credit at community college while still in high school, BUT I had to pay for them. I had no money, and Im 15 years old and my parents well, not all parents contribute much. I wanted these classes SO MUCH, that I WALKED within a 10 mile radius of my apartment building to apply for jobs ANYWHERE I could. All fast food places, and stores and stuff. I also applied on craigslist. So I finally got a job from craigslist, and it's a private clean the house, cook, wash dishes job and the employer paid me less than minimum wage (just by 50 cents less, so not too much) and I worked like 25 hours a week after school and on weekends during March 2011-May 2011. I earned enough money, but the job was really tiring, and maybe that's why my school GPA kinda slipped the choice was either: you get enough sleep, or you do your homework and study. Well, sometimes I was really tired so chose the enough sleep option, but tried to balance everything out.So in the summer I began taking classes. Pre-calc was pretty easy, I was just lazy to do stuff. NOT GEN CHEM. IN GEN CHEM I STUDIED 10-12 HOURS FOR THE MID TERMS, AND STILL GOT A C. I just dont understand some stuff there. It takes me like 3 hours to do a simple lab report that other students finish in like 30 minutes.;I mean okay, the other students are like 25-30 years old and even older, but hey, they had the same pre-requisites as me. I should be smarter than this!I feel like such a failure. With these grades I will not be able to get into my school's dual enrollment program (where I go to college classes and school pays for them and I get AS degree with high school diploma at the end), because my grades are a failure. C and a B? I will NEVER be able to convince my counselor to let me into the dual enrollment program and maybe she's right! Maybe I just don't have the skills or the inteligence to become a dcootr. In most cases where you hear a really young person going to college they're the smartest and best in their class. They're a prodigy and they can invent and think of so much stuff. Not in my case. I feel stupid and dumb. Maybe once you're born with an IQ if 122 (my average), you're just not MEANT for really advanced stuff. It's like that chemistry stuff: some light wavelengths just don't reflect, they go straight through the object, which makes you not be able to see the color that the object is the object just seems clear. No matter at what intensity you throw the wavelengths at the object, it's still not gonna reflect, because the wavelength isn't long enough. Maybe it's the same with my IQ. No matter how hard I try, I just end up with a C. My first medical school pre-requisite is screwed up. I wont be able to get into medical school at this pace!
