August 6, 2011I'd appreciate ur atttneion given to Durham NC..we r fighting daily for mere civil rights..they are being stepped on and beaten by our police dpt here..not on a whole..but rouge groups that target vry poor areas..not for reform..but opporunity..like wild hunters and hydrenoline junkies..violating obvious laws nd constitutional rights..simply bcause there isn't a voice in the corrupt system that is supposed to serve and protect us. Even our internal investigation system here is ridden with corrupt officers..that trick nd bully..use nd steal drugs frm the dealers..create bonds nd demand pay frm dealers or info..to further empower their corruption..Please..Please Please help us here. This used to be a flurishing town for blacks..before a highway was built right throught the heart of our money center..as we speak the restoration project is working to drive blacks out to county lines with sec 8 vouchers..while we pay fines for dog leashes nd vaccines..that we hve gvn to our own pets..still the sme dealers and prostitutes run the streets and hve been for 30 yrs. There is no desire for reform here. The deisre is for us to pay until we kill ourslves..each other or leave.. HELP US HERE IN DURHAM NC..WE ARE POOR NOT WORTHLESS..I PRAY YOU HEAR MY CRY FOR A CITY THAT HAS BECOME MY HOME <3 <3 <3
