Lately the biggest problem in this area is Cherry Piercer Fly. This pest showed up a few years ago on cherries, and berries. What a pain, the fly lays eggs in the fruit that hatches to maggots and the fruit rots. It has taken me several years to get control over this bug. It caught me by surprise a few years back.
