I think it is clear
I think it is clear that the figure at the top is a regliious personality of such intensity that he emits sunlight that causes a shadow to appear behind the pillars. In addition, his face comes apart to reveal the source of the intensity, which is not renderable in two dimensional drawing, so it comes out looking like a blob. I am not sure why Kate, Matt, Kara are written there but it is cause for concern.
