Me too! For the longest times I had no details... just that he walked into his house with his hand wrapped up and bleeding, and told his wife he needed to go to the hospital. He's been "de-gloved" and they've taken skin from his leg and put it on his hand, and they're also trying to replace the nerve, but his diabetes means they also have to reroute blood vessels, and were checking to make sure the blood was flowing freely... eek.
