Florida does not have any "pistol license" unlses you're talking about the concealed-carry license. Also Florida does not register firearms, like most states in the country. The idea that all legal guns are registered is a movie/TV myth.If you're talking about a concealed-carry license ask at any police station or email/call the state police, they can tell you if Connecticut and Florida reciprocate. If they do you can use your current CC until it expires, if not you'll have to get a Florida CC.
