I believe that the Union's well iienntnoted efforts at consumer protection lay too much of the burden upon the federal governmentand not enough upon the States of the USA as most such issues are properly state law issues. By the federal Constitution WE THE PEOPLE only gave the new central government certain limited and enumerated powers (see ART I, Sect. 8 of the Constitution). Continued usurpation of State Powers by the USA poses a real threat to the political security of our country.
