I guess it depends on where you live and what you like to do for reearction. My husband was born/raised in Minnesota and is an uber-computer geek, so he's almost as white as a sheet of regular paper; I was raised in Southern California and loved swimming and the beach, so I'm the color of a pair of khaki pants. (Also, my parents are Filipino.)So, to me, his whiteness was unnatural at first, but I got used to it.
