I've always wonreded about how the West Wing went with JP, it was a smashing success for a while but when I first watched it (admittedly at like 14-15) a lot of it went right over my head. I can't see it playing very well in the current climate; culturally or politically, it would be too heady, too biased, to idealized, to simplified, etc., etc.I'll obviously be back too come Season Two, but I do hope that it will improve somewhat over the break; hopefully the new team of writers actually call Sorkin on some of his scripts.
