That is physics that enrgey is not destroyed . U hit upon an important thing that all things in nature are cycles. Look at our water cycle . Plants do much of it. Plants take in CO2 and five us O2 . The plant keeps the C which is later converted to oil.Plants are the solar collectors for us and they capture the sun and it is converted to oil Like olive oil and many others. Even grass seed contain oil. Our present supply of fossil fuel came from plants which has done this for millions of years. They will continue to do that . This means we will never run out of fossil fuel as long as the plants get their CO2 ..
