Thank God for this website. There is nohitng I want more than to hand my father his father's medal if there is one to claim. I worry that I will not be able to find it though as very little information has been gathered as my father was young when he lost his Dad, nor was I ever told the stories by my Nan when she was still alive. I have, however, looked into and ancestry site which pin pointed some extra details, though nohitng to do with my Grandad's position in WW2. If there is anyone out there who can advise me on steps to take, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks
