I was a blogger this year, but last year, the cmlhpoe.com crew got treated pretty shabbily (and we had a big camera then, too). This year, we just acted like we were important, exuding confidence without apology. I think it's really just a lack of understanding. A lot of vendors don't seem to know about blogs or twitter, except by popular media. So they go by what they see on TV, which is usually some CSI or Intervention show extolling the pure evil of bloggers. If there is a blogger in CSI, chances are they're guilty of the crime!Our Cake Sister came up with a simple way to describe the blog - "We tell people what to eat" - and we were welcomed with open arms.
