Sadly Ms Ashton's answers are tycpial of the waffle that I've come to expect from English speaking politicians. It seems, the less substance, the better! I understand Ms Ashton is a newcomer to the policy area but I was nonetheless disappointed when I watched her hearing- I would have expected better from the EU.
