I'm proud of you for dumping it and tnriyg again! That moment when you dumped it must have felt like FAILURE but it's not! It's a chance to try again. Good work, Jodi!I've been having these doubts about Book 3 and I keep coming back to it, re-reading it and thinking, no, it's actually pretty good! It's just that I've hit a depressing part of the story. I knew it wasn't going to be sunshine and rainbows all the way through, but still, dealing with that is hard.
