It was actually kind of nice to be out and about with absetuloly NO intention of buying anything. Just watching the frenzy was fun an afternoon of EXTREME people watching. Not being in the rush to get this item or that item and then fighting for a place in line was rather enjoyable. They will probably only get a slap on the wrist and Child Services will peak in on them from time to time and maybe a forced parenting class. I'd rather see the kid get adopted by a loving and caring family while these two have to stand in the middle of a mall with huge signs around them explaining what they did, with a bin of rotten tomatoes and lettuce available for throwing. You are a better shopper than I am then. I just don't dig crowds that often. And when they are all high on shopping they are even worse. I was out specifically to people watch and relax so it was a lot nicer being able to walk in and out of stores without having to check-out or wait in lines. Next year I may go out in the wee early morning and get some shots of the nut jobs. Young and stupid. I'll bet even after they were arrested they didn't "get it." Not so bad when you aren't actually shopping and the craziness did inspire the photo! Thanks. Kathy's mom is worse than you. I think she is usually done with her Christmas shopping by July.
