Sounds like you'd do well to carefully eaniimlte any vestiges of older versions of Mozilla or Firefox from your computer (including and especially your preferences/profile), and do a clean install. Its being a work in progress (i.e. beta), glitches like this sometimes turn up from old preferences file when APIs are changed.Popups when a popup is blocked, Firefox tells me in a toolbar near the top and lets me open the window if desired. Just used this in a off the Minnesota Legislature's site, and it worked like a charm. The toolbar's pretty subtle: are you sure you're not getting it?As for the downloads I assume that you've specified your download options (Tools > Options > Downloads). Cuz yeah, everything you describe here is really weird. Are you using the latest Preview Release?Live bookmarks are a neat idea, but I've so far not found them terribly useful except to make it apparent when there's an RSS file to consume. I prefer something like and even that I don't use anymore.
