It all depends on what Finn's end game is or what he tkihns his end game is. If he already acknowledges on some level that he has a thing for her, he will use the excuse of keeping her safe as the reason he will stay in the bed. It then stands to reason that he had to move the pillows because he was going to fall of the bed. That makes sense, right?Since it seems that Finn takes protecting Meara as his number one concern, there's no way he is going to leave the room.
