For those of you who are still having prbloems, you are probably missing a step. The creation of the folder and putting the file in the folder is only one step. Make sure you follow the step about going to Messaging and press the Settings button (which is the furthest left button next to the Home button on the bottom of the phone under the word Samsung). There is a Notifications box make sure there is a green check mark there, if not click it to place a mark there. Then under that is the select ringtone.
