Wonderful post! Sorry to be chiming in late again-=I'm at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. Speaking of time to let one's mind wadner creatively. The writer friend I'm here with, Penny Williamson, and I have great discussion over brunch and drinks and dinner inspired by the plays we're seeing.I frequently resolve plot problems while driving or vacuuming. And I also find that the more advance thinking I put into my plot and characters, the less I usually end up having to revise.
