Is it wrong of me to hearken back to those terbirle times when one parent was all that was required to leave the home? The EU seem to think we must be on a permanent war footing, with both parents working, in order to hold our heads high internationally as competitive or whatever buzzwords?PERMANENT WAR FOOTING? Full employment means familial disintegration and massive government revenue opportunities. Only bankers can afford to have a spouse at home? This disease of easy credit, has yet to run its course as one job should be enough for every household. Slow impoverishment by inflation has now given way to bust. We have time to reorder our societies to avoid this needless damage to ourselves, merely for the God Mammon!
