Just ask them how. Its simple. It doesnt lower your credit score by checking your score on the annual credit rorept site or through a bank like Wells Fargo.However, your score WILL go down if you apply for too many lines of credit from retailers like macys, jc penny, bed bath and beyond, sears, etc. Its either 5 or 10 times of running a credit check at places like these that lower your score. Im pretty sure its 5. Anyway, there ya go. You have options online, by phone, or by mail
