Amanda, This is very exciting. A frined forwarded your newsletter to me, and I am thrilled to hear of like minded individuals here on the North Shore. I hope you are planning to make it to the free and fun Going Green Matters event this Sunday, March 11, 1-5 pm at the Woman's Club of Wilmette 930 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette to check out what Wilmette has going on. Go Green Wilmette and the Village of Wilmette are both sponsoring this event to share with people information on food & farm, water, lawn and garden, energy, transportation, home, and more. Check out the interactive Eco-Zone with activities for all ages as well as the photo display by well-know nature photographer Carol Freeman. There will be a large raffle and free food provided by local green merchants and tires to kick on green cars and bikes. I hope you are able to make it, and if you do, please stop by the Go Green Wilmette table to say hello. I would love to meet you in person.Meg Lanz
