The best one I've experienced so far was at the house of one of my clients where lightning had struck the electric net throughout the house, totally incinerating every electric wire and system in the entire house. That was really neat. Very smelly too.
Oh and the metal doorhandle on the door to the cabinet with the breakers and such launched itself into the opposite concrete wall and embedded itself about 4 inches.
Needless to say, all the cabling and equipment had to be replaced. They eventually resorted to just filing a piece of the metal handle off and fill the rest of the hole in the wall up a bit and put some new wallpaper on it all.
