Normally, I just vie
Normally, I just view the source code from wihitn the browser, but after reading everyone’s reviews about Firebug, I decided to give it a try. The first thing I liked about Firebug was the ease of loading it as an add-on to Firefox. For years Internet Explorer was my browser but Firefox has become my preferred web browser. There is a learning curve to using Firebug, but I found it’s website very useful in learning how to use the software quickly. Being an add on to Firefox makes it readily available to view site code by using the F12 key. I really like the ability to be able to view a web page and view the html code on the same screen. A feature that I will be able to use at work is the “monitor network activity” feature. This feature will allow me to monitor problems with the Intraweb site and determine what the problems might be. It has several tools for working with CSS that I have been working with to resolve problems with my own CSS coding. It makes fixing problems so much easier because it will indicate when code is invalid. I still have much to learn about Firebug, but I am finding it useful as a way to view my pages and coding. 0 likes
