Workplace happiness comes from fnelieg my ideas are welcomed, and that I can respectfully and privately discuss with my boss a decision with which I disagree.Unhappiness at work? I once worked in a company where the executives were held to lesser standards of conduct than the rank and file. The COO could scream at, spit on (Yes! Literally!), discriminate against and have affairs with employees all actions that would have gotten the line employees fired. It's hard to feel appreciated when the execs believe they're somehow better than their employees.
